8 Best AI Marketing Consultants in 2026 (With Real Prices)
These are the best AI marketing consultants you can hire in 2026, sorted by what it costs to get started, with the price each one publishes. My own name is here too, so read my entry with that in mind.
What Google Shows Instead of the Best AI Marketing Consultants
Search "AI consultants" and page one is enterprise names like BCG, IBM and Gartner. Search "best AI consultants" and you get firm directories.
I pulled seven hiring searches on September 28, 2026. Not one page-one result was a list of individual people you could book a call with.
Lilach Bullock, one of the eight below, found a similar gap in Google's AI answers when she ran 47 prompts through Google's AI Mode.
Most consultant pages make you book a call just to find out what the first step costs.
Best AI Marketing Consultants in 2026
To make this list, a person had to sell AI marketing help to businesses under their own name or a small practice they front, show AI-specific work in public, and be active in 2026.
I checked 27 people and practices, and 11 passed. Three are search specialists and one sells enterprise advisory, so they get their own sections below.
I held myself to the same three tests, and my entry uses the same format as everyone else's.
Every price was read on each consultant's own offer page on September 28, 2026. The order runs from the least you have to commit to get started to the most, then the one who does not publish a price.
It is not a quality ranking.
| Consultant | What you buy | Least you commit to start | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mark Schaefer | A one-hour marketing advice call | $250 per session | Owners who want a senior marketer's read on one decision |
| Ryan Doser | Hourly consulting or monthly AI coaching | $500 per hour | Solo operators and small teams who want to build it themselves |
| Lilach Bullock | AI audits, fractional CMO work and AI builds | $1,000 for the smallest engagement | Founders and service businesses |
| Jonathan Mast | A monthly virtual Chief AI Officer | $1,500 for one month (agencies: $497 a month, 90-day minimum) | Small businesses that want an AI advisor every month |
| Britney Muller | A live cohort course on AI for marketers | $1,750 per course seat | Marketers who learn by building a real project |
| Nicole Leffer | AI training for a marketing team | $2,999 per team webinar | B2B SaaS marketing teams |
| Trust Insights (Christopher Penn and Katie Robbert) | A 90-day AI roadmap for the whole company | $25,000 fixed fee | Mid-size companies with AI pilots but no plan |
| Liza Adams | AI workshops and advisory for go-to-market teams | Not published | B2B marketing leaders rolling AI out to a team |
1. Mark Schaefer (One-Hour Advice Calls)

Schaefer is a marketing author and speaker who sells a one-hour call called Instant Marketing Advice. His page pitches it as access to "more than 40 years of global business experience."
His AI angle comes from his book, Audacious: How Humans Win in an AI Marketing World.
Starts at: $250 per one-hour session.
Best for: an owner who wants an experienced marketer's opinion on one decision.
Watch out for: this is broad marketing advice with AI as one lens. You leave with direction, not a working setup.
2. Ryan Doser (Hourly Consulting and Monthly AI Coaching)

That's me. My AI consulting page offers an hourly session, a monthly coaching plan called the AI Concierge, and on-site days with your team.
The public proof is the teaching: more than 470 videos showing the work on a YouTube channel with 40.5K subscribers, and an AI marketing community of 2,000+ members. I also run AI content and SEO systems for clients on retainer.
Starts at: $500 per hour.
The AI Concierge is $999 a month for a 90-minute working call, VIP membership in my AI Marketing Insiders community and my three digital products. On-site days start at $5,000.
Best for: solo operators and small teams who want to build the system themselves, with someone directing.
Watch out for: the Concierge is coaching, not done-for-you. Anyone who wants the marketing taken off their plate should pick someone else.
3. Lilach Bullock (AI Audits, Fractional CMO, AI Builds)

Bullock calls herself "that AI consultant who started in marketing." Her work with me page covers AI audits, fractional CMO work, training and done-for-you AI builds.
She says she has 21 years in marketing and has partnered with Twitter, Dropbox and IBM. In a separate study, she ran the same prompts through six AI engines, 72 runs in all.
Starts at: $1,000 for her smallest engagements, per her page. Scope and final price get set on a free 30-minute call.
Best for: founders and service businesses that want AI built into lead generation and ads.
Watch out for: her page covers both coaching and done-for-you work, so ask whether she or her team will do the build.
4. Jonathan Mast (Virtual Chief AI Officer)

Mast runs White Beard Strategies and sells a Virtual Chief AI Officer subscription with up to six hours of consulting each month.
Agencies get a separate program with two 90-minute mastermind sessions a month and his AI Prompting Mastery course for up to ten team members.
Starts at: $1,500 a month. The agency program is $497 a month with a 90-day minimum.
Best for: a small business looking for an AI advisor on call every month.
Watch out for: the focus is AI across the whole business, not marketing alone. My fractional Chief AI Officer breakdown covers when that kind of role is worth paying for.
5. Britney Muller (Cohort Course Plus Consulting)

Muller teaches Actionable AI for Marketers, a live cohort course on Maven. Her own site describes her as an AI consultant and educator.
The course page says she was previously at Hugging Face and has 11+ years in AI. It showed a 4.8 rating from 78 reviews when I checked.
Starts at: $1,750 per seat, with the next cohort running October 6 to November 5, 2026. Consulting rates are not published.
Best for: marketers who learn best by building a real project alongside a group.
Watch out for: the published price buys a course, not one-on-one time. Ask directly if you want consulting.
6. Nicole Leffer (AI Training for Marketing Teams)

Leffer trains B2B marketing teams on AI. Her advisor page says she began doing it full-time in early 2023, and it carries testimonials from the CMOs of Vimeo and SOCi.
Her team packages are priced by the tool you use: $4,499 for ChatGPT, $5,499 for Claude or Gemini, and $7,499 for Copilot, each for up to 20 people.
Starts at: $2,999 for a live two-hour team webinar.
Best for: B2B SaaS marketing teams where everyone needs to level up at once.
Watch out for: her page says the $2,999 webinar is not customized for your company. The tailored work starts at the tool packages.
7. Trust Insights (90-Day AI Roadmap)

Christopher Penn and Katie Robbert co-founded Trust Insights, a small analytics and AI firm. Their AI Enablement Package is a fixed-fee, fixed-scope offer.
For a fixed fee you get 90 days, four deliverables and a walkthrough call, including a role-by-role report on which tasks AI can take over.
Starts at: $25,000 fixed fee.
Best for: mid-size companies that already ran AI pilots and need a written plan.
Watch out for: it covers the whole company, not just marketing, and it comes from a two-founder firm rather than one consultant.
8. Liza Adams (Workshops and Advisory for Teams)

Adams runs GrowthPath Partners, which helps go-to-market teams become "Human+AI" organizations through workshops, hands-on training and advisory.
Her site features a case study of a cybersecurity marketing team that, by her count, built 211 AI teammates and kept 57 in daily use.
Starts at: not published. The page offers a free consultation.
Best for: B2B marketing leaders rolling AI out across a team.
Watch out for: this is built for teams and leadership groups, not a solo owner.
How to Pick One of These AI Marketing Consultants
Price tells you where to start. It does not tell you who is good.
The one rule I would not bend: only hire an AI marketing consultant who is a practitioner. That means someone running AI marketing work right now, in their own business or for current clients, who can show you real results from it.
Skip anyone whose only proof is a course, a certificate or a slide deck about AI. Some entries here are stronger on this test than others, and each "Watch out for" line tells you where to press.
Before you book any of these AI marketing consultants, run them through the nine questions I would ask any AI consultant, mine included. Two of them matter most with this group.
First, ask what you will own when the work ends. Mark Kashef, who builds AI systems for clients, made the point well when I interviewed him.
His test for anyone building for a client: can they move it off their own laptop, secure it, and explain it so a non-technical client can follow along? If not, he would build it in a visual tool like n8n that the client can audit and take over.
Second, ask whether they build or only advise. A $250 call ends in advice and a $25,000 roadmap ends in documents, so my consultant vs coach vs fractional CAIO breakdown will help you pick the right kind of help first.
For the rate ranges behind these numbers, what AI consultants cost in 2026 goes tier by tier.
Only Care About Getting Named in AI Search?
If your problem is specifically that ChatGPT and Google's AI recommend your competitors, you want a search specialist rather than a general AI marketing consultant.
Nathan Gotch and Aleyda Solis passed my research for this list, and both already sit on my list of the best AI SEO experts. Kevin Indig fits the same bucket.
I also sell AI SEO consulting and sit on that list myself, so the same disclosure applies.
What About the Big Names?
Paul Roetzer's company, SmarterX, sells executive AI advisory for $250,000 a year, US only. That buys four in-person half-days, four one-hour virtual sessions and ten AI Mastery licenses.
It is built for enterprise leadership teams, which is why it sits here and not in the list.
Why the Price Belongs on the Page
Seven of these eight put a number on their offer page, so you can size the first step before you ever get on a call.
Start with the smallest step that answers your real question, and scale up only when the first one pays for itself.
Book the hour before you sign the retainer.
Disclosure: I sell AI consulting, which makes me a competitor to most people on this list. I have no financial relationship with anyone else named here, and nobody paid or was asked to be included. Full disclosure.
